Erin Brockovich Chemical, Chromium 6, Found in Utah's Water
Salt Lake City's Water Has 5x the Amount of Chromium 6 Than What is Being Considered Safe in California"This is BIG news, and it was brushed under the carpet. Few people really understand how serious of a problem this is. In late 2010, Salt Lake City water samples tested positive for the hexavalent chromium 6 , the contaminant made famous in the 2000 movie “Erin Brockovich.” According to the research company EWG, the study found S.L.C. water contains chromium 6 at 0.3 parts per billion, which is 5 times higher than what California regulators proposed as a limit that Californians should be exposed to."
